Last updated: February 2025
IMBA.studio respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid DMCA takedown notices. This policy describes how to report copyright infringement and our response procedures.
Our Role
IMBA.studio is a video processing tool. Users provide source videos and receive processed clips. We do not host a public library of content. Generated clips are stored temporarily (7 days) and only accessible to the user who created them.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, send a notice to support@imba.studio with:
- Your contact information (name, email, address, phone number)
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing (be as specific as possible)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Our Response
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- Notify the user who submitted the content
- Provide the user an opportunity to file a counter-notice
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice with:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the removed content
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Consent to jurisdiction in federal court
- Your physical or electronic signature
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat Infringers
Users who repeatedly infringe copyrights will have their accounts terminated.
False Claims
Filing a false DMCA notice may result in liability for damages. If you're unsure whether content infringes your copyright, consult an attorney before filing.
